Some work towards accommodating LilyPond percussion notation.

With yesterdays commits where I had decided that adding different notations (e.g. LilyPond percussion) was going to be easier by generalizing pitch (an attribute of note) rather than generalizing elements (notes, rests, chords). This commit changes some type classes to focus on pitch rather than elements.
