I've added an experiment with a state tracking parameterized monad. The state is the drawing path - the pmonad enforces that you must create a path with newpath before adding lines with lineto; then you must use closepath before fill or stroke (and it enforces that you can only do one or the other).
This is very slick as it took almost no effort, unfortunately it does mean the do-notation can't be used, so I'm not sure if it has a place in Wumpus.
